The BPI Subic Regatta is the 4th and finale of the BPI Signature series of keelboat regattas in the Philippines, starting with the BPI Corregidor Regatta, the BPI Busuanga Regatta, the BPI Boracay Regatta and finally the BPI Subic Regatta. These were previously individual regattas but now combined under the BPI Signature series. There was only one hearing at the BPI Subic Regatta but in total the BPI Signature series had 12 hearings.
As there was no requirement for the jury to be on water, one of the members of the Jury Mark Pryke IJ (AUS) volunteered to give a basic rules course to new sailors in two sessions. The event was the first by Philippines to introduce a paperless ONB with the introduction of the online platform racingrulesofsailing.org.
