THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
This was a very challenging event to Chair as there were 2 Yacht Clubs involved. The Foiling Classes were at Georges River Yacht Club which was a 30 minute Uber ride away from the other host Club Woollahra Sailing Club in Sydney Harbour. The GM, Dan Could not have been more accommodating to the Jury requirements to facilitate on the water and Jury facilities.

Australian Sailing did a fantastic job with some difficult decisions prior to the event regarding location of the Int. Jury and our boat requirements plus elegibility issues for 1 competitor.

We had 1 day where the Jury were required to operate under N 1.4 for the foiling classes.

We also had 1 RRS 69 Hearing involving a Coach abusing the RC but we could not conduct the hearing as the incident occurred on the last day and the required notice was not able to be given to the Coach. We referred the matter to Australian Sailing with a suitable recommendation as to the suitable penalty. - NZLMA3
