THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
There was 6 racing days scheduled with 1 race per day i.e. 6 races total. The minimum number of races for a valid championship was 5. Due to the lack of wind or too much wind there was no races on 3 days which made the event under the pressure to get it valid. Eventually having still 3 racing days with a good wind and by sailing 2 races per day, the full schedule was achieved.
The class rules and event documentation needs some improvement to remove a possibility of different interpretations and more clarity for the event procedures. There was a situation when the race management procedure was not followed exactly as required but it did not have any conserns by the sailors.
The online race management system was used but most of cases the sailros still preferred to submit their requests on paper.
However, the hospitality of the organisers and the social part of the event was great, with nice sailing and happy sailors, which made the whole championship successful. - ESTAP4
