The Lasers had 3 days of training with the coaches and the Optimists 2 days. The Optimists had another day devoted to 4 boat team racing with 16 teams. At the conclusion of the training days two members of the jury ran sessions on rule 42 and team race tactics for all the sailors. As a result there was a reduction in the expected number of rule 42 penalties given and some good interactive team racing. - GBRCW43
