The International 5.5m Class World Championships 2018 were preceded by the Scandinavian Gold Cup, the Royal Kaag Classic Cup & Hanko Evolution Cup as well as the Kings Cup, at the same location, with the same jury. In the cup races combined, there were 28 entries, nine countries were represented, 19 races were sailed and there was one hearing.
Both, the World Championships as well as the Cup Races, were extremely well organized. The race management was of the highest order. All the administrative arrangements, on-shore and off-shore, were excellent. - INDGJ1
