• At the beginning of the event, a member of the jury disclosed that he had a conflict of interest which was found to be significant. World Sailing revoked his appointment as under rule 63.4(b) he could not be a member of the protest committee for a World Sailing major event.
• The EDIO for the event carried out several investigations on reports under RRS 69.2 and Regulation 35. The jury held three hearings under rule 69.
• Kiteboarding Medal Series were umpired remotely from a booth where the umpires followed the race with the help of drones. The system worked well and is ready to be implemented in the Paris 2024 Olympic Regatta.
