THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
The jury received a report from the OA about an incident occurred while a coach was organizing the rib to tow some boats. The coach had removed the kill cord momentanously and a series of circumstances caused the throttle be pushed foward, the coach fall overboard and the rib move madly and full speed in the course area. The jury called a hearing under rule 60.3(d). The jury agreed to send a redacted version of the decision to the World Sailing Safety panel and the Coaches Commission to evaluate the case and study how to improve safety at events.

On a separte case, the jury called a hearing under rule 69 after a competitor abused the race committee at the starting line. The competitor apologised to the RC before and during the hearing but the jury considered that abusing officials should not be permitted and imposed a penalty to the competitor. - ESPAS1
